Everyone likes to here about a success story, it makes them feel a little bit warm and fuzzy inside, it also helps show that if these people can be successful then you can too. It does take a lot to run a successful business, and you need to possess a certain set of skills. But the good news is that there are lot of success stories that you can draw inspiration from.

Starting a business can be challenging and there are a lot of obstacles to overcome, but if you plan and strategize your idea properly you are more likely to be successful in the long run. There are a lot of different pieces of information and even coaches to help you on your way to success. This is great because never before has there been so much information at your disposal.

There are a lot of different success stories that are worth taking a look at. So, have a read on below at some really awesome business success stories:

John Ferolito and Don Vultaggio

You may not have necessarily heard of the name, but you probably have heard of the company the two friends own, AriZona. The company started out in the back of an old bus, selling beer. After doing that for about 20 years, in the 1990s they decided to try selling soft drink, which meant they launched AriZona Green Tea. Now, this tea is one of the most popular in America and they sell their teas on international markets.

Konosuke Matsushita

He worked in Japan and in his early 20s in 1917 he was an apprentice at a light company. Konosuke Matsushita liked to tinker around with light and eventually improved the light socket. His boss at the company didn’t really show any interest, so he started expanding what he built and worked on in his basement.

 

It didn’t take Konosuke Matsushita too long before he was expanding what he was building. Up until 2008 the company was called Matsushita Electric, after that there was an official name change to Panasonic, which is probably a brand you recognize, or even have purchased products from.

Pierre Omidyar

Pierre Omidyar was a computer programmer that started auctioning off various things on his website called AuctionWeb. It was more of a personal project for Pierre Omidyar and he didn’t really think much of it, until he saw the amount of traffic he was getting to the site. The website quickly grew and grew and it didn’t take too long into the website became the popular one it is today, a website called eBay.

Howard Schultz

Nothing like a trip to Milan to give you that great business idea you have been searching for! Howard Schultz was working for a coffee bean roaster and fresh back from his trip to Milan gave him the idea to upscale. His employer at the time wasn’t really that interested, but did give him some funding and gave Howard Schultz the name of their coffee bean roaster company, which just happened to go by the name of Starbucks.

Phil Robertson

Could you imagine someone giving up a chance to play NFL so that he could hunt ducks instead? Well, this is with Phil Robertson did, and the move turned out to be very successful. His love for ducks helped him create a duck call under the company named Duck Commander. It was when Phil Robertson put his son in charge when the business really started to take off, known as Duck Dynasty, you may have heard or even watched their TV show.
