Built Different: How JJ Morris Is Using AI to Disrupt Legal Marketing

    0
    JJ Morris
    JJ Morris

In today’s fast-moving business world, JJ Morris stands out for his grit, vision, and ability to merge compassion with innovation. From a childhood filled with hardship to founding Viribuz Media, a groundbreaking AI-powered marketing agency that connects law firms more effectively with their clients, his story is proof that where you start doesn’t have to define where you end up. Today, Viribuz Media is not only helping legal firms grow faster; it’s also reshaping the way legal services are delivered.

    Hard Beginnings, Bold Choices

JJ Morris didn’t grow up with opportunities; he created them. His early years were shaped by broken systems, unstable homes, and adult responsibilities no child should carry. However, through it all, Morris didn’t fold. He learned to adapt, survive, and care deeply for others walking hard roads.

“I had to grow up fast and take on a lot of responsibility at a young age,” JJ says. “But those challenges taught me some valuable lessons about resilience and fighting for what’s right.”

His values were tested early. While most young athletes dream of full-ride scholarships, Morris made a different choice; giving up his college football offer to rescue his younger brothers from the foster care system. He stepped in, not because it was convenient, but because it was necessary. “I was committed to getting my brothers out of the foster care system and giving them the stability and support they deserved,” JJ says. “Sometimes the right choice isn’t the easy one, but family comes first.”

He also faced major struggles with education. JJ couldn’t read properly until he graduated high school. However, instead of giving up, he pushed harder. After graduation, he challenged himself to read one business book every day for an entire year, ending the year with nearly 300 books under his belt. That year of intense learning laid the foundation for his future. JJ reveals. “I was determined to educate myself and build the skills I needed to succeed. That year of reading 300 business books changed the course of my life.”

A Better Way to Grow Law Firms

JJ didn’t set out to build just any company. He started Viribuz Media in 2020 because he saw a broken system. Law firms were using old marketing methods, working with shady vendors, and struggling to get in front of the right clients. JJ knew there had to be a smarter, more ethical way to help law firms get qualified clients more efficiently, using smart automation and real human insight, he made it his mission to build that.

“I could see there were so many inefficiencies and pain points in the legal industry when it came to marketing and client acquisition,” JJ says. “Firms were using old tactics, working with dodgy vendors, and struggling to keep up with their clients’ demands. I could do better.”

Viribuz Media started with that vision and took off. In 3 and a half years, JJ turned Viribuz from a start-up into a multi-million dollar business. However,  it’s not just the numbers or growth that’s impressive; it’s the transformative approach to legal marketing. Viribuz doesn’t just use AI to automate marketing; it combines AI with real human insight from medical professionals, including registered nurses and nurse practitioners who vet and qualify each lead. So law firms only get client inquiries that match their services. This saves time, improves efficiency, and delivers better outcomes for everyone.

AI That Works Smarter and Fairer

According to recent research, companies that adopt AI-driven marketing can increase operational efficiency by up to 40%. That number becomes even more significant for law firms working with limited staff or tight budgets. Viribuz allows them to scale without sacrificing quality or ethics, which also means better client satisfaction.

However, JJ’s vision goes further than just business results. He wants to level the playing field. Many small firms can’t compete with the big players when it comes to marketing budgets. JJ is working to change that. “Our mission is to democratize access to sophisticated marketing tools,” JJ says. “Every firm, no matter the size, deserves to succeed.”

Now, the company is exploring even more AI-powered tools to support a wider range of legal practices. JJ’s goal is clear: to give every law firm, big or small, the tools they need to scale. “What makes our approach different is we’ve actually done it ourselves,” JJ says. “This isn’t theoretical knowledge – these are practical strategies that have generated hundreds of millions in value. Now, for the first time, I’m working directly with business owners who are ready to transform their businesses and scale their companies to new heights.”

JJ Morris’s transformation from a young man with a vision to the founder of a groundbreaking enterprise is a story of determination and innovation. Through Viribuz Media, he’s not only changed legal marketing but has also shown what’s possible with technology.

As firms across the country use his AI solutions, JJ remains a champion of progress and accessibility. His story shows us that no matter what life throws at us, with purpose and determination, we can achieve the impossible.

Motivation Lessons From Tim Cook, CEO of Apple

    0
    Tim Cook

In case you didn’t already know, Tim Cook is the current CEO of Apple, he took the realm of Apple after the death of Steve Jobs in 2011. Apple is one of the biggest, most profitable and recognized brands in the world. Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple was an excellent entrepreneur and was able to turn Apple into a highly successful company, and Tim Cook has continued ensuring the success of the brand.

When working for a company, especially a big company, it becomes easy to just see yourself as a small cog in the machine and don’t really know how much actual impact you are having on the business. It is difficult to keep motivated all the time, and even the best of us have our down days. Keeping motivated is a big part of personal development as the more motivated you are, the greater the growth in yourself you’ll probably see.

As a leader, it is important to motivate your employees as this will help with the success of the brand as well as individual’s personal development, so it is effectively a win-win! Have a read on below at some of the specific tactics the CEO of Apple Tim Cook does to motivate his employees:

    Private Appreciation

It is important to show your employees that you care and appreciate everything they do for the company. A good leader will understand that they cannot achieve all this success on their own. It is important to acknowledge when good work has been done. When an employee gets privately appreciated it tells them that their actions are right, and gives them a guide to work from in the future.

It also helps motivate them because they know the CEO or manager is looking at them and paying attention. It may even push the employee to do better and more things that are beneficial to not only the company but also their individual personal development.

If an employee is happy and feels as though they are really making a difference, and they are improving as a person, they are also more likely to stick around with the company for longer. Having a low turnover rate is something that a lot of businesses really try to achieve, but rarely do.

    Public Appreciation

Not only it is important to pull employees aside privately to acknowledge an employees good work, but Tim Cook explains that it is important to publicly appreciate and recognize positive work done by employee/s. This helps bring in a really good team culture, which is something that is very important within every business.

If there is a good team culture and employees get along and genuinely like each other, they are more productive as a team and are more likely to see better results. Getting public appreciation is another way that really motivates employees as well, because more people are aware of the good work they have done.

    Gratitude

Saying thank you to your employee isn’t just something that Tim Cook really believes in, but also Eric Schmidt, the ex-CEO of Google, as well. When employees work really hard to make sure that they are doing the best thing for the company, it is important for the leader just to show a little bit of gratitude, it will certainly get them a long way!

Gratitude motivates employees and makes them feel like they are doing something worthwhile in their life, this is another thing that helps with employee retention. While it isn’t important to show gratitude for every little thing an employee does, when they have actually done a really good job you should tell them that.

How Fast Fashion Has Changed The Industry

    0
How Fast Fashion Has Changed The Industry

Clothes are important, we wear them everyday, but something that has been rising up in the past couple of decades is fast fashion. Most people tend to have a lot of different pieces of clothing. Perfectly fine pieces of clothes, but that doesn’t stop them going out and continuing to purchase more.

In general, the global fashion industry has seen steady market growth since 2012. There is certainly a generational thing where the younger generations are leading the charge and continually purchasing more and more clothing, and there are even a lot of clothes in their wardrobe that they don’t even wear.

People these days are buying way more clothes then they did even compared to just 6 years ago. So why is this? Why are people these days buying more clothes then their wardrobe can probably even fit, and then throwing out perfectly good pieces of clothing simply because it isn’t new anymore? This is the growth and power of fast fashion.

    The World of Fast Fashion

When people think about fashion they think about trends, people generally want to look good and also be on trend. In fashion trends change probably more often then the seasons do, so people tend to like to keep up with the latest and greatest. Instead of the typical four changes to fashion every year (i.e. with the seasons), there is now said to be 52 changes to fashion trends each year (i.e. a new trend each week).

Consumers like to buy new things to keep up, but unless you are super wealthy they can’t really be purchasing clothes and accessories from top expensive brands. This is where the likes of H&M, Forever 21 and Zara have all stepped in to fill the gap for the consumer. Their products are low cost, which means every time a consumer wants a new outfit, it won’t break the bank.

How Fast Fashion Brands Rose To Success?

To put it simply, it is all in the supply chain. Ensuring the that supply chain is a fast as possible and there are no weak links, allows fast fashion brands to keep their prices at a more competitive rate. Zara is the perfect example of this, it only takes the brand about 2 weeks to finish a new design and get the product made and sent out to large proportion of their stores.

Clothes are being produced on such a mass scale, but consumers are still buying, so the brands will continue to keep producing. The streamlined supply chain allows for fast fashion brands to only order in small amounts of stock to the physical stores. They are then able to get a proper read on how popular certain products are and order in more if required.

    The Reach of Fast Fashion

Fast fashion has certainly taken over the world and it has reached a lot of different countries. Many like to compare fast fashion to fast food, if you think about it, there is a McDonalds in pretty much every country in the world, and no matter which country you are in, it is probably going to taste similar to what you were expecting.

The growth of fast fashion stores is also incredible. Look at H&M for example; a few years ago in 2016, they opened over 400 stores. They didn’t have 400 stores in 2016, they OPENED 400 stores in 2016! H&M is now in over 60 countries right across the world and has a very big share of the fast fashion market. Looking at another big player in the fast fashion market, Zara, opened around 500 new locations in 2017.
